Your Gift, Your Way

From making a one-time donation online to designing a legacy that supports CMU’s School of Computer Science for years to come, we’ll work with you to support SCS in whatever way is best for you.

Ways To Give

Online Giving

Give now in just a few clicks using a credit card, Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay. You can select one-time or recurring payments as well as your designation to SCS or our various funds.

Stock and Wire Transfers

If you’re interested in funding your charitable gift through a security, please notify us at gift-administration@andrew.cmu.edu or 412-268-2582 so we can ensure it is processed according to your wishes.

Donor Advised Fund

A donor-advised fund, or DAF, is a flexible way to support SCS. Think of it as a charitable savings account that offers immediate tax benefits and can maximize your long-term philanthropic impact.

Send a Check

You can send a check, payable to Carnegie Mellon University, to Carnegie Mellon University, P.O. Box 371525, Pittsburgh, PA 15251-7525.

Coporate Match

Many companies will match their employees’ contributions, and, in some cases, those of retirees, board members and spouses/partners. Inquire about your employer’s matching gift program or look up a company using our search tool.

Design a Legacy

Support SCS for generations to come by including a gift in your will or trust. You can modify your gift at any time to address changing circumstances.
