Mac Speech: IRC
IRC (Internet Relay Chat)
MacIRC
, a very nice chat client that uses speech. Chris Bergman is EFNet #macintosh all the time (as WindWalkr) and is very responsive to feedback.
IRCle
, an IRC chat client for the Macintosh. Onno has added speech support a while ago in version 2.3b, and continues to update it. Very nice. Even has a slider for speaking rate, and an option to only have lines spoken that contain your nickname. Onno also listens to his userbase.

Homer
, another IRC client for the Macintosh. It hasn't been updated in quite a while, but there are rumours that a legitimate version of Homer II will come out some day. Homer also has speech support. In fact, one might say that Homer was instrumental to the whole IRC thing on the Macintosh. Still has a very nice interface, though we expect some clunks to be taken out for Homer II (if it ever comes out).
