| Notes | The Hammerstrike class Assault Transport is designed to carry division-strength Royal Manticoran Army Expeditionary Units, along with their supporting units and all necessary supplies, to systems where they are assigned to garrison duty; and to provide significant orbital fire support as needed. The Hammerstrike’s CL-grade armaments and BC-grade defenses and EW/ECM capability allows it to protect itself and accompanying Fleet Train units from light and medium raiding forces, thus reducing the need for large escort forces and freeing up light and medium combatants for other duties. | |
