Notes This ship was authorized at the same time as the Phantom-class BC, and uses the same hull and many identical parts for ease of repair. Unlike the “cousin” model, the Wraith is very lightly armed, using DD-grade missile launchers and fewer energy weapons to free up space for the PCLx launch bays. Like the Phantom, it mounts BB-grade sidewalls and shielding, and incorporates an even higher degree of automation as well as strengthened defenses. The EW/ECM and stealth systems are equal to those of the GSN’s Manticore’s Gift-class SD. Crews for the PCLs, PCLRs and PCLRRs are drawn from the Intelligence Staff; other smallcraft crews come from the Marine Complement.
