My research interests lie at the intersection of machine learning, natural language processing, and linguistics. Current research areas include:
- Statistical machine translation
- Computational morphology and phonology
- Statistical language modeling
- Feature induction and representation learning
- Unsupervised learning
- Bayesian models in MT/NLP
- Big data opportunities in NLP
