We invite companies to consider sponsorship. Sponsors of Red Team have an opportunity to gain relevant large-scale media exposure and make a valued philanthropic contribution.

Through sponsorship, brand awareness is inherent because the Grand Challenge is highly newsworthy. Grand Challenge 2005 will be covered globally on television and in numerous magazines and newspapers. The New York Times, Scientific American, Popular Science, Wired, and many others featured Grand Challenge 2004 articles on Red Team.

Your logo emblazoned on our race vehicle and team uniforms will become recognizable symbols of support. This unique race is an opportunity for sponsors to be apart of the action.

The race events produce targeted exposure to decision makers in these market segments: computer technology, robotics, automotive equipment, and motor-sports, as well as the military, and major military suppliers.

If you'd like to explore placement of your corporate brand on our vehicle, please contact us immediately.

There are also opportunities to provide customized marketing sponsorship packages around your company's marketing needs and objectives. We can offer items such as inclusion in print advertisements placed for the team in local magazines such as the Pittsburgh Magazine and nationally in Wired magazine. There are opportunities for on-campus display and sampling, to gain access to pretigious Carnegie Mellon alumni through Carnegie Mellon Today magazine with a circulation of 90,000+, opportunities for employee recruitment, hospitality opportunities at qualifying trials and on race day, potential for inclusion in promotional activity and a team send off event with a TBD media partner and other potential customized beneifts pending approval of the Red Team and Carnegie Mellon University. For a customized sponsorship package please contact Linda Wager at 412.268.8819 or lwagner@andrew.cmu.edu.
