The Moonwalker consists of wooden foot holder and an aluminum outer frame. The foot holder is suspended via a series of rubber bands that tie to the aluminum frame. There are varying strengths of rubber bands that support a wide range of weights. This allows for children of all sizes to use The Moonwalker (minimum age is 6). These jumping shoes are designed to accept all sizes of feet. Construction cost for each pair should not exceed $10. The only materials required are plywood for the foot holder, aluminum for the frame, rubber bands, velcro for the foot holder straps, and thin rubber or inter tube for the shoe tread on the bottom. The tread should assure maximum traction and the straps keep the user firmly secured in the bouncing shoes. The aluminum frame that bears the brunt of each impact is durable and lightweight.
