Pretend-A-Bucket
Description of Pretend-A-Bucket:
- The pretend-a-bucket is a bucket that has three attachable pieces that allow it to become several house-hold items a child can use while playing "House." The toy starts as a bucket with a handle on the top, the child can use the bucket to carry "construction supplies" or other toys. On the edge of the bucket a handle can be attached, allowing the bucket to become a pitcher for a lemonade stand or for snack time. The last piece is a shower spout when this is attached the bucket becomes a watering can for a pretend (or real garden). The piece attaches in a way that water could be placed in the bucket and poured without leaking. The last feature of the toy is the small dry-erase board on the front which allows the child to name the state of the bucket, for example "Lemonade $1.00"
- The pretend-a-bucket gives the child a prop that can hold many types of fluids, also by having a regular spout(pours water in one line) and a watering spout (separates the water through tiny holes) the child sees fluids at work.
- The cost for construction would include plastics (hopefully plastic 5 would work for recyclable reasons) and the molding process. The toy also includes a small dry erase bored and at least one small dry-erase marker. Like any plastic toy it should last a few years, long enough to entertain a child. There is one safety concern with the dry-erase bored/marker, the dry-erase markers on the market today release small amounts of poisons fumes, so either a non-toxic marker would need to be supplied or a general warning. Otherwise, the pieces are large enough that a child would not choke on them
