Stock Phone Design (03/00, 2 weeks)
Challenge Working with portfolio information from the Allbank site. Develop the information architecture and visual 
design for the embedded information to be displayed on two-color cellular phone screen (120*120 pixels).Design the following interactions:.
  • looking at an overview of the first 5 stocks on the list (amazon, compaq, e-trade, healtheon, microsoft), and seeing changes in stock price since the display was last checked
  • looking at detailed information for Microsoft ‹ a snapshot of fluctuations over the last 24 hours
  • scanning a news article related to Microsoft
Process Group information in a simplified and intuitive manner.  Conducted the heuristic evaluation.
Solution Explored different visual designs for the same 
information architecture.
