The party arrived in Vlurshollow and was introduced to a Sun Paladin named Cambra, who'd been stoned by a cockatrice in the Vlurshollow crypt while investigating corruption within the Sun Temple fourteen years ago and revived by the whilg about a month ago.

Eldara: [a contact in VH]
"Maybe you guys can tell Cambra a little about yourself -- she's been asking all kinds of questions, and I don't know too much. Then Cambra can tell you her most awesome story."
Cambra:
"Well, I was stoned for most of it..."
Eldara mentioned that a person named Qwizzark had also claimed that some lizards has revived him; he'd said something about taking care of business and headed off for Silverton. The party then split up to see to sundry bits of business, so I'll just go character by character.

Beeel, Frankel, and Thorongil:

These guys hung out in Vlurshollow, basking in the glow accorded "heroes of the Ketronel." Beeel self-trained to Kensai-7 while Thorongil trained Frankel to Ranger-6.

Silvana and Stealth:

Whitemoon decided they wanted to have a little chat with Silvana about having their Champion's spirit tied to a farastu-summoning yugoloth bound in a blood-drinking tree. (I can't imagine why...) Most of the details of this meeting have not been released, but we do know that Stealth has lost the "Avenger" portion of his spirit and is no longer tied to Lifeblood. In other developments, Whitemoon is still debating "certain issues" (possibly Red One stuff) before deciding whether to get involved in the conflict with Rakni, and Plant Dude has decided to join Whitemoon for the rest of Silvana's tenure as CoG.
Meanwhile, Silvana figured out the real reason that Froot Loop and Hajmola went along with the whole tree affair -- they figured that the grey elves would have the same reaction Whitemoon did (especially once Stealth, not Rillathorn, was bonded to the tree) and reboot Plant Dude; while PD was recovering, they intended to pounce on him and suck up as much energy as they could swallow. Instead, the grey elves pumped PD with extra energy and had him fake a reboot; when Haj and Froot Loop came by to scavenge, PD and his new buddy Axe Beak pounced on them instead (and are now dining to their greedy little hearts' content). Froot Loop has been imprisoned by Axe Beak, and Hajmola is still trapped in the IF.
Then Plant Dude really was rebooted (with some extra Good vibrations courtesy of Whitemoon).
Silvana returned to Vlurshollow, where Jenx trained her to Thief-9; during this period, she managed to detrap the book from the C-Ra Spider Monk base. It turned out to be a dense philosphical treatise (written in Eastern Common, with enough symbolism to make interpreting the thing bloody difficult) about the relationship between male and female spiders; it says that in general, female spiders tend to be larger and nastier, while the male spiders more or less cower. It also recommends recruiting male spiders to fight Rakni (which again makes me wonder if the C-Ra operation were being run by Spider Monk impersonators -- why would the real ones have a book with recommendations for fighting Rakni?). There was also a flat irregular web with a spiralling design hidden between two stuck-together pages; it detects as magical but not evil. (For the record, many of Rakni's spider constructs, such as the dreadnaughts, are sexless.)
Silvana also learned that a group of male drow refugees led by Azhar (a CN drow summoner who came to this world with the party when they returned from their first trip to the drow plane in AK 578) fled Silverton a few months ago and have been hiding out in the forest near Vlurshollow. Azhar and Archon (a LG mage who used to be a LE Rakni disciple and now lives in Vlurshollow) are making some sort of anti-spider plans, though we don't know what.

Cambra:

Cambra and Ganeth got a ride back to the West on the dikka ship (an experience described as much like riding an ICBM). Many details of this trip are still unknown to the chronicler, but we do know that she had two significant dreams during her stay: an elaboration on a whilg vision and a potential future mount.

Ganeth:

After arriving at Rogtubbins' keep, Ganeth headed to the Hollerith Temple to find out if he's already going insane. During the initial analysis, Nomistrus (using some cool new glasses) noted that the feather from Froot Loop is "like distilled chaos"; G was able to remove it, though it clung to his fingers in a staticky sort of way. Ganeth then filed a report for Rognukena and settled into his customary place on the altar for a few weeks of gentle yet persistent investigation.
It turns out that Ganeth isn't going insane, though Lessania may be. Nomistrus believes that Lessania is in some sort of cocoon partitioned from G's mind (which is keeping him sane for now) while the chaos source pumps lots of energy into her (she currently scans as name level or higher). His guess is that she's being trained for a mission that she'll carry out using G's body and items. (He also thinks the blood whetstone was intended for Lessania and that Ganeth should expect more such dreams in the future.) When Lessania takes over, G will probably remain in the body as an observer; whether the shator's employers intend her to exert temporary control, take over permanently, or just explode is unknown.
In vaguely clan-related news, the Holleriths were unable to determine much about the intelligent sword from Sirax's saddlebag, though they believe that it was present in old Auramkil and that devils may have been involved in its creation. Kelmin has been helping Alpha select mages for the Western army; though Alpha gets on her nerves, she thinks his party is cool. She's also started hanging around with a dual-classed human fighter-mage from Silverton who currently works for Rogash.
The West doesn't have much reliable information about Chaotic insanity religions, since the names and methods of worship don't show much consistency. According to Nomistrus, some people suspect that the religion is associated with Jubilex ("the demon-queen of slime"). The Banzeel Insanity Temple is unusual among Eastern religions in its tolerance of demi-humans. Thus far there have been no reports of insanity regarding Rogtymark (or anyone else in the West), though kenku have been continuing to demoralize the populace of Rogash's keep by swooping down on Truth priests, lying to them, and escaping.
Western agents in Banzeel haven't reported anything about kenku, but the term "karfu manufacture" was noted. Kharnzeel is known to be working with a group of high elves, though the elves are trying to be discreet. Nomistrus believes that both Kharnzeel and Subator have to carry an item for their bonding to function (though Subator's is likely to be cursed on) and that negating or suppressing either item would save Subator (though Subator's might be rigged to do something nasty when suppressed).
The Hollerith Temple was caught off-guard by the Silverton assault and wasn't able to scry any of it; they were doing surveillance on the East in preparation for the war. Auramkil has unofficially agreed to support the West in the war if (and only if) the initial skirmishes go well. (Basically, they want to be in on Marakeel's defeat and subsequent looting but don't want to risk losing anything themselves.)
Nomistrus also mentioned that there are records of a Red Mage going back several hundred years; he's recorded as very violent and possibly insane. He agrees that Ganeth should duck any challenge the Red Mage tries to mount; he thinks the ring may interact with G's Red One energy, and we probably don't want to find out how. And Ganeth received a response from Nukena.
Tremere teleported Cambra and Ganeth back to Vlurshollow on 1773 PK.
