  • Sep 18, 2007: Randy Pausch gives “The Last Lecture: Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams”. The naming of the bridge is announced at the lecture by university President Cohon.

  • Jul 25, 2008: Randy Pausch dies of pancreatic cancer
