Tom Mitchell, head of the Machine Learning Department, and Michael Jordan, professor of computer science at the University of California-Berkeley, have co-authored a review of “Trends, Perspectives and Prospects” for machine learning. The invited article, published in the July 17 issue of the journal Science, is part of a special section on artificial intelligence.
