The SCS Pre-College Programs at Carnegie Mellon University offer a four-week, on-campus experience where high school students take college-level courses in computer science or artificial intelligence. You’ll learn Python, work with data and algorithms, and explore the basics of AI and machine learning. Outside the classroom, you’ll attend seminars on college admissions, financial aid, mental health and more. The program also includes CMU faculty talks, student panels, site visits and weekly group discussions — plus continued support as you plan for college and your future in tech.
We believe that all students deserve access to programs that help them decide if theirs is a future in computer science. No one should have that decision dictated to them by their circumstances.
