| Notes | This unit is designed to engage planetary
orbital defenses from outside normal missile range with the aim of disabling
or destroying then existing defenses, then replacing those defenses until
such time as they can be refit or replaced. Tactical doctrine calls for
Mayhem units to operate with equal numbers of LAC carriers and
conventional DNs (Std TG = OFSDRon x2 + BatRon/DNV x1 + BatRon/DN x1) and
appropriate screening and Fleet Train elements. Marine Complement is primarily
a ceremonial unit; often omitted in favor of additional crew when not serving
as squadron/station flag. Sidewalls, Particle and Radiation Shielding approximately double strength of Benjamin-class SD, with provision to convert to “sidewall bubble” projection (strength equivalent to SD-grade sidewalls). N-space impeller drives employ Beta² nodes; Warshawski sails are generated by Alpha² nodes. |
