The Final Whilg Visions (to date)

----------------------------------------------------------------------
When the party visited the Monastery of Absolute Good in the Far West (what folks from our neck of the woods call anything west of the Banditlands), Ganeth had a chat with Xinthai, the resident whilg. Xinthai suggested that G set aside and preserve a part of himself, so that something of him would survive the challenges ahead; this sounded suspiciously like the pact Lessania made once upon a time and seemed to confirm our suspicion that at least some of the whilg prophecies were intended to be self-fulfulling. He was also up-front about viewing Ganeth as a tool; everyone does, of course, but it's nice to hear someone being honest about it. And at the end, there were a quick pair of visions:

A bridge of gold

Same bridge, same hooded woman, but this time she has two hands, which are folded in prayer. Quoth Xinthai, "You will face her, though many doubt her existence." Quoth Silvana (inexactly), "In other words, they still want you to take her out, even though most people don't think she's much of a factor anymore." We later found a physical analogue of the bridge in the Veins of Abbathor, had problems with someone who may have been one of her operatives, and visited her base at Mt. Kathul, but so far there's been no sign of her directly.

A room darkened by webs

Xinthai's comment: "Sometimes the fly that is consumed poisons the spider." Yet another sign that Ganeth is going to be maneuvered (by Plant Dude and others) into taking on Rakni, with mutually assured destruction (in classic Red One style) the expected outcome.
