I'm a Ph.D. student in the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, under a QinetiQ North America Robotics Fellowship; I'm co-advised by J. Andrew (Drew) Bagnell and Martial Hebert. My research lies somewhere in the areas of machine learning and computer vision for understanding scenes from 3-D point clouds and/or images. During my M.S. research, I closely worked with Nicolas Vandapel and Martial on 3-D point cloud classification/segmentation for unmanned vehicles, as part of the CTA Robotics project. Much of this work was supported by a Siebel Scholarship. Before that, I received my B.S. from Carnegie Mellon as well and studied Electrical & Computer Engineering and Computer Science. |
