  • 2/6: Late policy: everybody gets 4 'slip days', that is, you may be late for 4 days, total. For example, 1 day for hw1, 2 days for hw2, and 1 day for project proposal. If a group needs an extension, all members of the group have to have the appropriate slip days.
  • 2/6: Addition to the grading scheme for project proposal: Please make sure that you give
    • the problem definition ('given ..., find ..., to optimize ...')
    • and how you plan to measure success, eg., wall-clock time, precision/recall, classification accuracy etc.
  • 1/25: HW1 is out
  • 1/23: Project list and info is out.
  • 1/20: Bulletin Board now available
