The 3rd International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies and Development, hosted by Carnegie Mellon Qatar and TechBridgeWorld from April 17-19, 2009. ICTD2009 brings together the latest ideas on ICTs for development from both technical and social science perspectives. Alongside academic paper presentations, there will be poster sessions, workshops, panels, and application demonstrations. Confirmed keynote speakers for ICTD2009 are Bill Gates (Chairman of Microsoft Corporation, Co-Chairman of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation) and Carlos A. Primo Braga (Director, Economic Policy and Debt in the PREM Network at the World Bank).
