1995 Immigration Course

Welcome to the 1995 Computer Science Department Immigration Course. The course is for new students, staff, and faculty, but we hope people already in our community will take advantage of the opportunity to learn about CSD people and research. The Research Posters (2nd week) are a particularly convenient and flexible way to learn about research that interests you.

Most days of the IC are organized into four 75 minute sessions, starting at 9:30, 11:00, 2:00, and 3:30, along with some evening activities.

New students are expected to attend all sessions during the first and second weeks.

In addition to the schedule below, we have a bunch of information about getting started at CMU SCS. If you have a question that's not addressed by that list, perhaps you would like to chat with an agony aunt about it instead.

You can jump to the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd week of the schedule.
