COURSE GRADES

Your course grade will be calculated based on the following:

Written Homework Assignments: 10% total
Programming Assignments: 10% total
Lab Exercises: 5% total
3 Written Exams: 45% (15% each)
2 Programming Exams: 10% (5% each)
Final Exam: 20%

Grades from all assignments and exams may be reviewed for up to 5 days after they are returned/posted. After this period, the grade is considered final and cannot be changed. We reserve the right to review an entire assignment/exam if it is submitted for re-grading. You may check your grades throughout the semester by logging on to Blackboard.

MINI-QUIZZES will be given once per week that do not count toward your final grade but can influence your final grade. Excellent performance on most mini-quizzes will increase your chances of moving to the higher grade if you are on the borderline between two grades.
