Summary
This chapter consists of a number of positive personal accounts by
Scientologists[tm] of their experience with
Scientology[tm]. A few testimonials from
celebrities are included. At the end, there are
also anonymous testimonials about
specific Scientology[tm] programs, including a number
that claim that Scientology[tm] cured their medical problems.

- Bob Brooks, a Scientologist[tm] for over 20 years, has a
Web page explaining
why he is a Scientologist.
- In her book The Road to Xenu, ex-OT3
Margery Wakefield describes her 12 years with Scientology[tm],
and what made her finally get out for good. The narrator is actually
a composite character, but she also wrote an affidavit describing
her personal experiences.
- Former Scientologist[tm] Mary Tabayoyon, in a sworn affidavit, reports that
she and others were coerced into having abortions while in the Sea
Org. Other staff abuse during her 25 years as a
Scientologist[tm] is also reported.
- In The O. J. Roos Story, one of Hubbard's former auditors
says that Hubbard and the Scientology organization deviated from
"the tech" in the mid-60s. He was expelled from the Church for this, but
continued to practice the tech. Heavy use of jargon and general difficulty
with English may make this piece hard to read.
- Tilman Hausherr has assembled a large collection of
testimonies
by former Scientologists[tm]
and other critics.
