Clip art is art that is in the public domain and can be used without acknowledging the artist. Some sites that have archives of clip art also include links to sites with copyrighted art. Most of these sites allow the use of the copyrighted art under the condition that they are not used for commercial purposes and that the artist be acknowledged. If you use copyrighted art, be sure to honor the artist's request and include the requested acknowledgements.
