By analogy, there is no need to put the
title of the document on the website either. It’s on the title page.
This isn’t the craziest idea in the
world… You have to download
the doc to see the cover page. It’s possible one would conclude that downloading the
document is not worth it, given advanced knowledge of the date of publication.

too much trouble to put the date of each file up on the documentation section
of the staff site -
