Back in August of 1999, I sent out a document that outlined what DELL can provide for warranties and how to contact them for servicing.  Please see the attached PDF file again, for that information.  The extended warranty pricing table is out of date, but a phone call by the customer to DELL can get the most recent costs.  At least the table gives a ballpark figure (don't quote it).
 
Please keep it in an archive directory in your computer for future reference.

I believe numerous customers have the extended Dell coverage through Wang. Global should have a record of the initial, and extended, warranty contract information.
Steve, perhaps you could turn this enquiry over to the assigned Project Manager.  Your suggestion for written procedures outlining the process is a good one.  This question comes up frequently.

We assume no liability in such a matter.  We do not warranty any computer system.  That warranty is between the customer and DELL.  After the initial warranty period, the customer must contact DELL to get an extended maintenance agreement

What does the customer do when they are done with the initial DELL warranty? What is the process they use to get their GEMS computer under maintenance contract?  Could support please outline procedures?
