Intro

Recently I joined Microsoft Research as a Scientist.

I completed my PhD in Language Technologies Institute of School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University in fall 2018, working with Professor Yiming Yang and Professor Jaime Carbonell. I obtained M.S. in Language Technologies from LTI in 2014, advised by Professor Jamie Callan. Prior to CMU, I received M.E. and B.E. in Computer Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2012 and 2009, respectively.

Research Interests

I am interested in various areas of statistical machine learning, optimization and deep learning, especially on applying statistical, neural and optimization techniques to capture, model and solve large-scale real world problems. Currently I am working on probablistic inference with stochastic deep neural nets.
