Milana Barshen

Milana was trained to manage the family business (seedy side and all) while her older brother was supposed to be off being respectable in the spotlight. She was presumed murdered with the rest of the Barshen family in AK 555 but had actually escaped with her nightblade trainer Semile Vinetta. She was in Silverton in AK 578, where she was Tremere's first trainer, but she moved to the southern continent after an altercation with the Blue Mage. (She also met her longtime SO Zaran during this escapade.)

Nuket told Ganeth that Milana was alive on the southern continent and using the name Melika in AK 590. Later that year, Pobhitakhor arranged an exchange of letters between the siblings as thanks for Ganeth's assistance against Hezlik during the Dragon Tears Islands game. Milana and Zaran visited the northern continent and soon found themselves confined to the Wind Temple after Zaran was framed for murdering Pobhi; Milana went a little stir crazy during the winter of AK 591, but at least she got a few visions from the whilg (whom she doesn't trust one bit).

Milana had nightmares every new moon (and sometimes awoke from them screaming about blood and feathers) for many years, but these seem to have subsided after the party killed the balor in Dreamspace in AK 591. Her natural concern for her brother's well-being was augmented after Zzukist told her that she would inherit the Red One mantle from Ganeth in the event of his demise.

Milana is still presumed dead by most people, and there's no obvious reason to inform the world that there's a second Barshen survivor out there. She currently makes her living as an adventurer and con artist in the forest of Elvenstar on the southern continent. Hajmola has implied that she's made some sort of deal with him, but he didn't divulge any details.
