The theory for IE crystals has been worked out in "Possible Mechanism
of Formation and Stability of Anomalous States of Water" by
Drs. C.Y. Wong and S.Y. Lo, published in the Proceedings of the
First International Symposium on Physical, Chemical and Biological
Properties of Stable Water (IE) Clusters (hereafter referred to as
Proceedings). Dr. C.Y. Wong obtained his Ph.D. from Princeton
University, and has been a world renowned nuclear theorist at Oak
Ridge National Labs. The paper relies heavily on the work of
Professor J.A. Wheeler, a Professor of theoretical physics at
Princeton University, and Dr. L.D. Landau, who is a Nobel Prize winner
in theoretical physics. Their references are quoted in the paper.
Does Professor Engelking imply that these two renowned theoretical
physicists do work that violates the fundamental laws of physics?
Since Professor Engelking did not specify where Lo's work violates a
specific equation or law, Dr. Lo is unable to be more specific in the
response.

Dr Lo did not use appropriate controls in his experiments. Structure
Probe used strict controls in the procedures described in its report

The electron microscope pictures published by Dr. Lo are done by an
independent laboratory, EMS, which is an accredited laboratory by the
state of Oregon. The operator followed strict procedures to obtain
the pictures and always included a control in all their operations.
Did Dr. Engelking talk to the operator to ascertain that they did not
use appropriate controls? The atomic force microscope (AFM) pictures
of the IE crystals are verified independently by Dr. S.N. Magonov
(see proceedings p.91) of Digital Instruments, the manufacturer of
half of the high end atomic force microscopes. I was once once told
Dr. Magonov himself has written two books.
Furthermore, Structure Probe has never contacted ATG, and it is not
clear what solution they tested. They have refused to respond to our
overtures. |
