Access Notes - Vol. 7 Summer 1994

Staff Notes

The Access Fund welcomes new Executive Director Keith Lenard to the Boulder office. Keith's background is in natural resource planning, and most recently he worked for the Bureau of Land Management in Oregon. Keith will be taking over from John Juraschek (JJ) who is resigning. JJ was instrumental in leading the Access Fund from obscurity to a position as the country's most influential climbers' organization. Officially JJ's last day is Sept. 1; he will attend the Climbers' Rendezvous in North Conway in an advisory capacity.

Communications Director Sam Davidson and National Access Coordinator Paul Minault continue to analyze policy and direct projects from their respective California offices. Look for Sam's columns in Climbing and Rock & Ice. Paul will be opening up his own law office soon; his business phone and address will be changing.

In addition to facilitating the 1995 calendar and coordinating events, Sally Moser has been named Director of Development and will also be managing editor of "Access Notes." If you're holding a benefit event, call Sally at the Boulder office.

Regarding administrative questions, talk to office manager April Sawyer in Boulder. For membership inquiries and to order new brochures, call Kirsten Smith, also in Boulder.
