2004/11/4 The volcano is still going strong! And for the first time the glow is visible at dusk.
2004/10/12 For the first time, the night time webpage images show a bright spot at exactly where the steam vent has been! I suspect lava has come to the surface. The light was first visible at around 21:49 Pacific time 10/11 night, and intensified at 3:30am 10/12 morning till sunrise.
2004/10/10 After a few day's inactivity, today a small, persistent steam column can be seen throughout the day.
