Stratos Papadomanolakis

I am a Ph.D candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Carnegie Mellon University, working on databases with Anastassia Ailamaki. I will graduate in May 2007.

I am interested in the performance of large-scale database systems with a specific focus on scientific databases. My research covers multidimensional access method design and disk layout for multidimensional datasets. In addition, I am interested and actively working on algorithms and architectures for automated database physical design.
