Concept One : Magnetic Mr. Potato Head

The magnetic Mr. Potato Head is based on the principle of magnetism. The purpose of this toy is to place the magnetic parts in the correct position in order to create a face for Mr. Potato Head (i.e. for the magnets to attract.) If a piece is backwards, upside down, or simply not in the right place, the magnets will repel and the child will have to explore the possibilities in order to create a suitable face. Mr. Potato Head is made out of a strong plastic material to ensure durability and safety. A basic mold is used to manufacture Mr. Potato Head’s body, making the assembly process quick and cost efficient. The accessories are made out of a softer plastic material that is safe for children to play with and will prevent the toy from wearing away after multiple uses. Plastic is an economically feasible material and easily obtained. Mr. Potato Head and all of his accessories will have small magnets hidden inside of them (i.e. covered by the plastic material) to prevent these pieces from being lost and/or swallowed by children. Each Mr. Potato Head set comes complete with a pair of arms, eyes, shoes, a nose, and a mouth. It is fun for ages 6 and up.
