The banana phone was inspired by the extremely popular flash video program seen here: Banana PhoneThese easy to use accessories to the classic banana are easily attached using elastic velcro straps.Four different parts make up this toy: the antenna, microphone, touchpad, and head piece. The antennaattaches to the banana differently than the other parts. It is a spring like device capable of being screwedonto the stem of the banana. This allows for a more secure connection considering its the piece with the mostoverall movement.

Because this item will likely be sold in a grocery store checkout aisle, it will be very cheap and easy to use. The markey for this toyare children, 6 and up who accompany their parent(s) to the grocery store. The antenna will be made form a cheap metal formed into a spring. The other three pieces are made from a dark colored plastic and would be assembled by snapping the front and back pieces together. The elastic velcro straps will be connected to the pieces by laying in between the front and back sections of each part. The microphone will have a small foam covering. Because of the targeted market, choking hazards shouldn't be a problem.
