Before coming to CMU, I worked full-time for three years at companies in Boston and the SF Bay Area, including two startups. More recently, I have done internships at IBM Research and Morgan Stanley. You can learn more about my background below.

Research

My research interests are in the areas of distributed systems, large-scale software systems, software development, and applied security. My thesis research on Byzantine-fault-tolerant distributed systems is conducted with my research advisor Mike Reiter.
