My research interests are in the areas of distributed systems, large-scale software systems, software development, and applied security.

I am working with Mike Reiter in the area of Byzantine-fault-tolerant distributed systems.

I have an M.S. from CMU and an A.B. from Bowdoin College. Before coming to CMU, I worked full-time for three years at companies in Boston and the SF Bay Area, including two startups. More recently, I have done internships in research and on Wall Street. You can learn more about my background on my CV.
