I am a graduate student at the Language Technologies Institute in the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. I used to be a full-time software engineer for over two years, focused on backend system and product development. I participated in developing several projects, including question answering system, vertical search engine, recommendation system, and several user products. My motivation to continue my education is because I am very interested in machine learning and data science. And I want to learn the domain knowledge systematically. My current major is MCDS program which is the abbreviation of Master of Computational Data Science. It mainly focuses on Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science. My academic goal is to combine my engineering experience with data science to become a talent in both areas.
