For the record, "semi-retired" means the character is still actively doing something in the world (and we even find out what sometimes), acting as an NPC unless its player decides to reclaim it. (They may still be actively adventuring, settled down running a temple or brothel, or doing something in between.) The truly "retired", on the other hand, are basically off the tapestry as far as I can tell, though I'm sure Rahul knows what became of them (and if they'll be reappearing).
