DOS Patch for 0.14.2

This is a contribution from Michel de Ruiter <mdruiter@cs.vu.nl>. He has patched the VICE 0.14.2 archive to make it compile under DOS, with the DJGPP C compiler. Many thanks!

The description follows, the link to the patch is below. For a comment on the DOS/Windows95 long filename handling see doslfn.txt

Subject: MS-DOS diff for vice-0.14.2

Dear Mr. Perazzoli,

I have compiled VICE version 0.14.2 under MS-DOS (no Win95), with
DJGPP version 2. This time, I have only changed filenames when it was
absolutely necessary. BTW, I really love VICE!

To be able to unpack the UNIX tar under MS-DOS, I had to rename the
following files first:

vice-0.14.2/src/arch/unix/readline/editline2.c -> editlin2.c
vice-0.14.2/src/arch/unix/widgets/TextFieldP.h -> TextFieP.h
vice-0.14.2/src/arch/unix/widgets/MultiListP.h -> MultiLiP.h

After that, I have made the following changes, to:

- incorporate the previous filename changes
  (arch/unix/readline/Makefile.in, arch/unix/widgets/Makefile.in,
   arch/unix/widgets/MultiList.c, arch/unix/widgets/ScrList.c,
   arch/unix/widgets/TextField.c, Makefile.in),

- let MS-DOS users compile without Bash
  (../readme.dos, config.bat, include/autoconf.dj2, Makefile.dj2,
   arch/unix/readline/autoconf.dj2, arch/unix/readline/Makefile.dj2),

- let MS-DOS users configure and compile with Bash, which includes
  changing the places emulator-specific object files are stored
  (config.guess, configure.in, Makefile.in, mkdep),

- silence some warnings and solve some small problems
  (c64/vicii.c, changelog.1, config.guess, configure.in, memutils.c,
   sid.c, tapeunit.c).

Hope it helps.

The changes are in the diff file dospatch.

I have tried to make up a new DOS archive with the changes incorporated. But none of us has a full working DJGPP C compiler at this time, so it is completely untested. You can get it in vice0142d.lzh.
