- 11/10: Visiting professor to discuss research
On Novemeber 22nd, professor Junfeng Yang of Columbia University will be visiting CMU to give a talk on his recent research. Professor Yang expressed interest in meeting with undergraduate students planning to pursue a Ph.D. career in systems or a related research area. If you would like to meet with professor Yang to discuss his research and/or the prospects of a doing Ph.D. at Columbia University, please contact Jiri Simsa (jsimsa@cs.cmu.edu).

Professor Andersen is out of town. He will be holding office hours on Tuesday, 10/19, from 3-4pm instead.
- 10/11: Project 1 parts 1-3 deadline moved to Friday
To give a bit more gap between the midterm and the first part of p2. Note that the overall deadline for the later parts of p2 has not changed.
- 10/10: Midterm review session
A midterm review session will be held tomorrow, 10/11, instead of regular office hours. It will begin at 4:30 PM in GHC 4211. Email the staff list with questions, problems, or specific topics you want to see covered.

Check the assignments page for the documentation. Email us your pairs of andrewids so we can get your repositories to you.
- 9/23: +1 Late Day
For this semester only, you may take three (3) late days. We encourage folks to use one of them for project 1 as necessary.
- 9/22: More bug fixes
This should fix most of the problems with the binaries and testing script.
- 9/20: request_client binary updated to fix bug
