Minorthird
Minorthird is a collection of Java classes for storing text, annotating text, and learning to extract entities and categorize text. It was written primarily by William
W. Cohen, a professor at Carnegie Mellon
University in the Center for Automated
Learning and Discovery. Contributions have been
made by many other colleagues and students including
Edoardo
Airoldi, Vitor Rocha de
Carvalho, Einat Minkov, Sunita
Sarawagi, Kevin Steppe, Richard Wang, and me. My responsibility for minorthird is pretty diverse, but a few
things I have worked on include: updating and improving the gui, preparing datasets, running experiments, improving run time,
fixing bugs, adding learning algorithms, writing documentation, and most importantly helping anyone who would like to use
minorthird.
