2001 Leonids meteor shower MPEG clip (1.7MB)

The above video is taken with a household camcorder, and shows 3 meteors leaving trails during the great 2001 Leonids meteor shower. I counted more than 1200 meteors in 1.5 hour! Meteors are cosmic dusts, not different from sand, burning up in Earth's atmosphere. Meteor shower happens when the Earth crosses very dusty regions in space left over by comets.
