I am a fifth-year Ph.D. student at the Robotics Institute at the Carnegie Mellon University, advised by Prof. Abhinav Gupta. Previously, I graduated with a M.S. degree in Computer Science from Sun Yat-Sen University, where I worked under the supervision of Prof. Liang Lin. Before that, I received my B.S. degree in Computer Science from South China Agricultural University.
I have also worked with: Prof. Alexei Efros at the UC Berkeley; Dr. Kaiming He and Dr. Ross Girshick at the Facebook AI Research (FAIR); Prof. Ali Farhadi at the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence (AI2). I have received the Facebook Fellowship, NVIDIA Fellowship, and Baidu Fellowship.
I am interested in Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Robotics. Specifically on the topics of Self-Supervised Learning, Video Understanding, Common Sense and Interaction. Here is my Research Statement.
I am co-organizing the Tutorial on Learning Representations via Graph-structured Networks in CVPR 2019.
I am co-organizing the Workshop on Multi-Modal Learning from Videos in CVPR 2019.
