AGA Reporting Requirements for Rated Tournaments The American Go Association (AGA) rates tournaments run by recognized organizations, such as AGA Chapters and clubs. - Tournaments must be publicly announced, and supervised by a tournament director (TD). Private games cannot be rated. - Games played with a clock must allow at least 30 min basic time, and unlimited overtime periods at a rate no faster than 10 sec per play. - Games must be played under either AGA or Ing rules. - Players must have an AGA ID number. To request an AGA ID for a new player, you must provide the player's full name and address. Tournament data for rating should be submitted by e-mail, if possible, or on a 3.5" IBM PC compatible disk. Please send your tournament data and requests for AGA membership and permanent IDs to Sam Zimmerman 925 Lindsay Lane Lancaster, PA 17601 szimmerman@cpcnet.com The following data must be included in your report. - Include the name, location, and dates of your tournament.
