Smallcraft Suffix Codes may be inserted before or after the Size Designator (ex: LKLV or LKVL for Large Vehicle Transport Shuttle)
The Suffix Code T for Utility indicates a shuttle or lighter whose payload space is more-or-less evenly divided between bulk/containerized cargo bays and passenger accommodation (passenger baggage space is included in passenger accommodation volume). This Suffix Code may be used with other codes to indicate the type of cargo carried.
The Suffix Code -P for Personnel is used to designate a Specialized Cargo Carrier (-G, -O, -V) Shuttle or Lighter fitted to carry a small number of passengers on a regular basis. Passenger capacity will be less than 25% of total payload volume.
