| Notes | This ship is built around a "hollow core"
in which 510 ten-missile parasite pods (85 per launch rail) are carried for
launch through the aft hammerhead. Missile magazines for the broadside launchers
are very small compared to those of most superdreadnoughts. Ship CO rank is Captain Senior Grade; Marine Detachment CO rank is Lieutenant Colonel/Colonel (GA). The original planning for this class was revealed in In Enemy Hands. The first units of the class appeared in Echoes of Honor. The Class Ship, GNS Honor Harrington, was selected by GSN ADM Judah Yanakov as flagship for the squadron he commanded in the Alliance Eighth Fleet under RMN ADM(G) White Haven. |
