Biking to Ross Park Mall

Take Craig Street north, past Centre Ave. and Baum Blvd. After Baum, Craig Street becomes four lanes wide. At the next stoplight, turn right onto the Bloomfield Bridge. At the other end of the bridge is a stoplight at a 5-way intersection. Make a hard left onto Liberty Ave. Take Liberty a few blocks to 40th Street, turn right, and eventually cross the river on the 40th Street Bridge.

After crossing the river, take a right turn, following the 28 North sign. (Don't worry; you won't actually enter the highway.) At the bottom of the hill, you have two choices: turn right to enter the highway, or turn left. You should turn left; you are now on the Blue Belt. Follow the Blue Belt up to the first stoplight, which is at a T-intersection where Peoples Plank Road begins. The Blue Belt would make a left turn at this light, but you should go right instead, staying on Babcock Blvd. At the next stoplight, turn right onto Thompson Run Road. A little bit later, turn left onto Siebert Road, which you will follow to McKnight Road. (On the other side of McKnight Road is Record-Rama, right next to a post office.) Turn right on McKnight Road, proceed about 1/4 mile, and turn right at the Ross Park Mall entrance.

Total distance: 10-11 miles.
