Providing students in the Masters program in software engineering with instruction based on Distance Education programs at CMU from August 2000 to present. Carnegie Mellon University is a leading institution of higher learning in the United States and respected world wide for its curriculum and education program.
• Software Manager, Pittsburgh, PA working for Adtranz a transportation company from April, 1999 to August, 2000. Adtranz is a wholly owned subsidiary of Daimler Chrysler Rail systems, Inc. Managed 26 software engineers and 5 major software efforts with embedded real-time applications. Required to estimate effort for company bidding and then complete work based on estimates.
• Software Consultant, Dana Point, CA worked for Tritech Information Strategies, November, 1998 to February 1999.  Developed an interactive voice response (IVR) system that provided telephone access to a database, developed a GUI interface for an Access based client for the database, and installed the IVR at the customers site in about a month.
• Supervisory Computer Scientist, Edwards AFB, CA, April, 1983 to November, 1998 . Worked in multiple software areas and developed applications from network security and Java applications to data analysis programs and client server solutions. Designed, installed and managed a 2000 user network for the B-2 combined test force. Managed an eleven year effort to modernize data acquisition systems for Edwards AFB and managed 10 government and 60 contractor personnel and the associated multi-million dollar budget.
• Founder of an Internet Service Provider company from 1995 to April 1999, with two other partners in the Antelope Valley, CA. Network One grew to become one of the largest providers in the Antelope Valley, providing service to individuals and corporate clients. My role in this company was to provide technical support in building the company infrastructure, as well as managerial support managing day to day operations for the company. I designed and built the billing and accounts receivable software which is still operational since the company was founded. When I left the partnership of Network One, the company employeed nine people.
