The Indians would have been in the playoffs in 1994 (for the first
time since the 50s) if the season
hadn't ended in a strike.  I thought it was heart warming that David
Letterman said [paraphrasing] ``You gotta feel bad for the Cleveland
Indians.  I think they ought to make an exception to the strike, and
just let the Indians keep playing.''
