I am a PhD student at The Robotics Institute - School of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University.

The focus on my research is on combining motion planning techniques together with learning methods for robust robot intelligence in real-life settings. I am passionate about developing intelligent and useful behaviors in the fields of robotics, machine learning, artificial intelligence and computer vision.

Before grad school I studied Mechatronics Engineering at University of São Paulo, Brazil, and I also spent one year at Cornell University.
