The Slingshot Glove provides stealth and subtelty, while still bringing kids the classic slingshot. The glove is inserted on your dominant hand and the slingshot is already attached. All you need to do is pick up a projectile and you're set! The Slingshot Glove is a step-up from the regular slingshot and adds an extra sense of mischievousness because of how sneaky you can be.
Kids will learn the physical principles of conservation of energy. When a projectile is poised with elastic potential energy by flexing the rubberband, the energy converts into kinetic energy and can sting someone!
The toy is designed for ages 10+, because it is dangerous to fling projectiles around.
For construction, the Slingshot Glove is fairly cheap. The glove simply consists of a one size fits all children's glove that comes in different colors. The slingshot part is made out of rubber with a leather pocket, so it is both durable and safe.
The rubber is attached to the glove by a patch of fabric and is then reinforced with an additional ring of fabric so the rubber does not disattach over time. The leather pocket and rubberband should be simple to construct.
The glove also comes in all varieties of colors, including all black, where the rubberband and leather pocket would come in black. The smiley face on the back of the glove is optional.
