• Slinky is a plastic snake composed of 4 hinged body pieces. His tongue moves just like a real snake as teh center of his body and tail move to let him slither over flat surfaces.
• Slinky uses wind-up power which stores energy in a orsion spring mechanism. When releases high quality plastic shafts and gear train cause his carefully weighted body to move. His tail and mid-section rotate about set pins, causing forward motion. Special texturized plastic mimics the scales of a real snake while also providing the traction neccesary for movement.Children learn about conservation of energy and gain a practical understanding of energy transfer between slinky and teh environment. His movements are much more complex tahn most wind-up toys.
